Glen Foerd is partnering with Riverways Collaboration for the inaugural  “Boat and Brew” fundraising event.

Philadelphians can cruise along the Delaware River for a great cause on Thursday, Sept. 19. The event supports free community boating, environmental education for Philly and Camden’s youth, equitable access to waterways, and healthier rivers.

Riverways, a coalition of nonprofit organizations engaged with the urban waterways of Philadelphia and Camden, will host the Boat and Brew, which kicks off with optional kayaking on the Delaware from 4:30 to 6 p.m., followed by a reception from 6 to 8 p.m.

Guests can enjoy an open bar with wine and beer, live music by York Street Hustle, and a silent auction with unique items and experiences up for bid. Food will be available for purchase from the Clean Plate Club food truck.

During the reception, attendees will have the chance to meet and hear from some of the youth participants and program leaders who benefit directly from Riverways’ initiatives. Learn about the impact of the programs and how support helps provide opportunities for environmental education and youth leadership development.

Tickets for the inaugural Boat and Brew are $50 each, with the option to add-on kayaking for an additional $25 per person. For information and to purchase tickets, visit glenfoerd.org or call 215.632.5330.
