Gospel on Independence returned on Sunday June 27, after a year’s absence on the lawn next to the Independence Visitor Center at 6th and Market streets! Hosted by Patty Jackson, of WDAS, the night of music featured talented singers who paid tribute to Tri-State Area Gospel Legends. Gospel on Independence is part of Wawa Welcome America’s July 4th celebration presented by VISIT PHILADELPHIA®, supported by Comcast NBCUniversal and Kimmel Cultural Campus.

Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw; Michael Neumius, Chief of Staff at Visit Philly; Elka Battle Murillo, Director of Strategic and Organizational Communications at the Philadelphia Police Department; and James Conway
