Police said a van with two handicapped men in it was stolen on Saturday night.
Both men were found nearby unhurt. The car not yet recovered as of press-time Sunday.
The van’s driver, 28, told police that he was transporting two clients around 10:45 p.m. when he stopped the car at his house on the 1300 block of Hunting Park Avenue.
The driver told police he was inside for less than 10 minutes and returned to find the champagne-colored 2007 Chevrolent Uplander with a PA tag of 40545PD gone.
The two passengers in the vehicle, men aged 56 and 57-years-old, were located a few blocks away unharmed near 9th Street and Erie Avenue.
A passerby described the suspect as a black male about six feet tall, wearing a red and white plaid Muslim garment on his lower body.
