Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, in partnership with the nonprofit Kelly’s Kidz, donated hundreds of toys to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, which will be distributed to patients and families of patients being treated at the hospital this holiday season.
Toys filled the lobby of the hospital alongside Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino President George Goldhoff, St. Christopher’s Hospital team members, Bob Kelly of Kelly’s Kidz, and volunteers.
The toy donation is a part of Hard Rock Atlantic City’s larger “12 Days of Giving” initiative which kicked off on National Giving Day on Dec. 3, with a $10,000 donation to the Community FoodBank of NJ. In all, the “12 Days of Giving” campaign will provide funds and services totaling more than $50,000 to 12 organizations.
Additional recipients include Covenant House Atlantic City, Live to Serve, Holidays for Heroes’ Shop with a Cop, ARC of Atlantic County, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Atlantic County Toys for Kids, Garden State Equality, Atlantic City Rescue Mission, Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City, and Jewish Family Services.
