Meet Dr. Frank Franklin, an epidemiologist with experience in population health and program management and the deputy health commissioner for the City of Philadelphia. In this capacity, Dr. Franklin addresses health disparities across the region, helping people reach a better understanding of how health conditions are tied to one’s environment. During his time as deputy health commissioner, Dr. Franklin has partnered with LGBTQ+ event promoters to strengthen Philadelphia’s efforts to support the queer community and eradicate Monkeypox. Ultimately, Dr. Franklin aims to improve health outcomes and foster discussion and collaboration between the city, health organizations, and the Philadelphia community.
