Here are three options for the Flyers at No. 18 in the NHL draft

After loading up on defensemen with the first pick in the NHL entry draft the last three years, expect Flyers General Manager Ron Hextall to switch gears this weekend and target a forward with size and speed with the No. 18 pick.

Here are a few of the players linked to the Flyers:

Julien Gauthier — At 6-foot-3, 230 pounds, he scored 41 goals in 54 games in juniors last year and played for Canada at the World Junior Championships.

Max Jones — The 6’2″, 200-pound winger has a tendency to spend as much time in the penalty box as he does celebrating goals but has the potential to develop into a first or second line player.

Michael McLeod — Hailed as a speedy defensive center, the 6’2″, 185-pound center has excellent puck-handling skills and passing abilities.
