This Saturday, Aug. 9, from noon to 5:30 p.m., this free event will be chock full of DJs, live performances, an Art Alley, local vendors, culinary treats, and more—all in the heart of Philly.

Headliners this year span Rich Medina and Cosmo Baker (from Global Icon and Curator of The Remedy), Sat-One (from Philly Graff and DJ Legend) and DJ JS1 (from NYC Turntablism.) Craig G, Reef the Lost Cauze, Truck North and The Return of The Last Emperor will also be in attendance with performances peppered throughout the day.

Activities-wise, this celebration will also boast live mural demonstrations, graffiti showcases, interactive art installations, food trucks, and a vendor market where you can shop from local Black and Brown minority-owned businesses. Locals can find more information and ways to RSVP online.

If you can’t make it out this Saturday, anyone can head back to The Oval this sunny season for a slew of different events spanning a custom summer food and drink menu and a themed nine-hole mini golf course. The menu will feature chicken sandwiches, wraps, a strawberry matcha milkshake and more, plus, a full bar offering house-made drafts, frozen cocktails, hyperlocal beers and N/A beverages.

The Oval will also feature some stand-alone events this sunny season. Free outdoor performances will be sprinkled throughout the summer (with acts like Parkway Presents and the fan-favorite Philly band, SNACKTIME.) The outdoor venue will also host weekend marketplaces and festivals on select Saturdays and Sundays. Thursdays will feature free yoga organized/run by Yoga Habit, and Sundays will be dubbed Family Fun Days with Quizzo, while Fridays will include movie nights (8 p.m.) throughout the season. A full schedule will continuously be updated online.
