Hit-and-run suspect still at large as mom, child released from hospital

A mother and child who were struck by a car on Tuesday have been released from the hospital, police said.

The older child, however, is still in critical condition.

Police are still scouring the city for the perpetrator who plowed down the three Tuesday as they were crossing the street just before 1 p.m. at Broad and Dickinson streets in South Philly.

Police say the female suspect was driving a red, two-door Honda Accord with a sunroof, which may now be missing its passenger-side mirror.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police.
