Hit-and-run victim Polina Kadiyska’s family needs Philly’s help

The family of Polina Kadiyska — the 22-year-old ballerina who was killed in a South Philly hit-and-run earlier this week — is facing steep bills to transport her body from Philadelphia to Bulgaria.

As of this afternoon, they’ve raised $6,000 of the $7,200 needed for airfare. If you can make a contribution, donations are being collected through the Euro Market in Broomall (610-359-9021) today. The family and coffin depart for Bulgaria tomorrow.
