Hyatt Centric Center City: Ways to stay and play for Pride

Hyatt Centric Center City Hotel is celebrating Pride with three different activations happening in the month of June.

The venue’s third annual Pride Makers Market will be in full swing on June 22, and the local artisan activation is designed to highlight a mix of the city’s talented queer-owned and operated small businesses and artists. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on that date, the second-floor lobby of the venue will be full of crafts and unique finds. While there, attendees can also book sessions with photographers from Inner Light Aura, and enjoy pay-as-you-go bites and cocktails from the hotel’s eatery, Patchwork Restaurant & Bar.

There is also a way to celebrate Pride with Patchwork for those coming from out of town as well. As a release notes, the Hyatt Centric Pride Summer Package promotion will be active starting in June and running through Labor Day, and includes a discounted rate, complimentary late check-out at 1 p.m., and a $25 food and beverage credit for Patchwork Restaurant. Bookings with this promotion can be made online using the code “PRIDE.”

“We’re excited to welcome all visitors and locals to stay with us while celebrating Pride,” said Elizabeth Fricke, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia in a statement. “Given the robust and continued programming in Philly, the package is available through the end of July. This allows people to take advantage of the great rate for continued Pride programming through the end of June and beyond. Additionally, guests will get a chance to see the work of our latest featured artists.”

And lastly, as Fricke mentioned, Hyatt will also feature a special exhibition from Philadelphia-based artists and queer couple Chris Curchin and Jorge Caliguiri. Their work, ‘Pair in Process’ will be on view at the venue until the end of June.
