Iguodala: Trying to be ‘pain-free’

The Sixers entered last night’s game against the Raptors with a 2-9 record and a hobbled Andre Iguodala. Neither situation looks like it’s going to be pointing up anytime soon.

Iguodala, who is dealing with right Achilles tendonitis, declined to put a timetable on his return.

“I’m just trying to wake up and be pain-free,” Iguodala said.

The swingman didn’t blame his busy summer with Team USA for his Achilles woes, saying he didn’t have any problems until a week or two ago.

For now, Iguodala is taking it one game at a time. The Sixers’ next game is Friday against the Bucks.
