At InnovAge’s LIFE program (Living Independence for the Elderly), seniors know they are surrounded by caring, dedicated staff.
And now, for the fifth time, InnovAge has been awarded a Great Place to Work certification.
Whether in their homes or at one of its regional care centers, InnovAge Pennsylvania provides its seniors with comprehensive quality care and support — be it emotional, physical, or financial — as part of its multi-layered, highly-coordinated medical and social programs.
InnovAge President and CEO Patrick Blair could not be prouder of being awarded this industry accolade for a fifth time.
“Earning this badge of honor is a reflection of the strength, credibility, and camaraderie of the InnovAge team,” says Blair. “All of us are driven by a deeply meaningful mission and purpose: to help seniors live healthier, happier, more independent lives in their own homes and communities. Our survey results express that level of dedication and care.”
Activated Insights, the senior care affiliate of Great Place to Work and the global authority on high-trust, high-performance workplace cultures, is responsible for finding those places and programs that matter most to cared-for and caregivers alike. Through its many employee engagement platforms, Activated Insights helps its clients to create dynamic workplaces that excel and last.
Beyond the industry of senior care, however, it is the applause of InnovAge’s clientele that is its greatest reward.
“Everybody at InnovAge is excellent, and they care about the participants. And they don’t just tell you that they care, but they show you that they care. To me, showing is the best,” says Theresa, a participant at InnovAge LIFE’s Henry Avenue center in Philadelphia.
“I do not have the type of support, like family or emotional support that I would like to have,” says Jane, an enrolled senior at InnovAge Pennsylvania LIFE, St. Bart’s center. “Here, the people are very nice. I can talk to them. It’s really like a family for all of us.”
“Everybody takes the time to see what your particular needs are and give you that customized kind of care. I just love the staff. I really do,” says Joann, an InnovAge Allegheny center participant.
“They make me feel supported and like I’m not alone,” says Debbie, a participant at InnovAge’s Pennypack center.
Patient acclaim aside, Blair says what is next and best in eldercare is always on his mind.
“When I think about the future of InnovAge, I am filled with energy and deep gratitude,” says Blair. “I think about the warm, compassionate, and caring human beings filling the halls and rooms at each one of our centers nationwide. I am extremely proud to work alongside such a capable and committed team.”
With that, it looks as if InnovAge is planning ahead for its sixth re-certification as a Great Place to Work, while aiming high and mightily for the needs and care of their cherished elder clientele.
