From boozy cocktails to indulgently delicious cakes to a full Day of the Dead themed menu, here is where you should pick up some extra special spooky treats.

Art in the Age

Head to Philly’s own one-a-kind tasting room, home bar supply and bottle shop to try two delightful Halloween concoctions. Lee Noble, Art in the Age’s mixologist handcrafted the Vampire Hex (Powderhorn, Dry Dolin olive brine, cocktail garlic and cocktail spice) and the Body Snatcher (Bloody Butcher Bourbon, Sarsaparilla and birch bark tincture, Dashfire Mr. Lee’s Ancient Chinese Secret Bitters, absinthe and lemon peel expression) for all of-age Philadelphians to sip on for the spooky holiday.

Cake Life Bake Shop 

Head to this Fishtown hotspot to indulge in an assortment of mouthwatering Halloween treats. First up, Philadelphians with a sweet tooth can enjoy two of Cake Life’s “cake of the month”: The Candy Bar Cake (chocolate cake filled with butterscotch sauce, chocolate and caramel buttercreams, garnished with crushed peanuts and candy bits) and their Pumpkin Maple Cake (pumpkin cake with maple cream cheese icing) or munch on one of their candy bar cupcakes. If cake isn’t what you crave, indulge in one of the bakery’s Halloween-themed coconut macaroons or pumpkin sugar cookies (Cake Life will also be donating $1 from each pumpkin sugar cookie to Juntos.)

Haunt

Aside from being an amazing spot for the holiday, Philly’s speak-easy style Halloween bar Haunt is also offering an incredibly delicious cocktail. Bar Director, Alison Hangen created the  Corpse Reviver Number 2 boasting filtered sake, vodka, green apple syrup, fresh lemon juice and an absinthe rinse for the perfect nighttime cocktail.

Weckerly’s Ice Cream 

It’s time to cool things down for Halloween at popular ice cream spot, Weckerly’s. Philadelphians can indulge in the hotspot’s “Skulls” ice cream sandwich boasting dark chocolate cookies, vanilla-y ice cream (made with single-fold fair trade vanilla extract instead of the whole beans for a more “candy-like” flavor profile), a caramel center, chocolate ice cream with peanut butter chunks and a raspberry “Blood” jelly with chocolate skulls.

Head to this Center City hotspot to indulge in a tasty Halloween treat. Art Bar’s Nightmare on Mark Street cocktail features white rum, Midori, pineapple juice and Sprite along with “bloody” simple syrup and fun dip lining the glass for a truly delicious experience.

Continental Atlantic city

If you’re headed to the shore for Halloween, be sure to check out the Continental in Atlantic City for their Basic Witch cocktail creation. The Basic Witch is made with Brinley Gold Shipwreck Vanilla Rum, cinnamon simple, homemade pumpkin and apple cider, spice bitters and sugar rum. Sip on the cocktail all night long on October 31st.
