Jalen Hurts is helping Philadelphia students one busload at a time.

The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was on site with students attending mentorship camp — hosted by local nonprofit KB Foundation — on Thursday, where his foundation donated a new bus to campers.

Hurts and leaders from Lincoln Financial came together at Lincoln Financial Field to unveil a new bus while hosting a special send-off for 60 Philadelphia-area boys, ages 11-13. With the partnership between the Jalen Hurts Foundation and Lincoln Financial, the KB Foundation will now be able to serve more Philadelphia-area students, saving almost $70,000 in transportation costs each year, money that can now be used to support more students with additional programming.

“You just want to really equip the youth with the tools that they need so they can make the choices they want and choose whatever road they want to go down later on when that time comes,” Hurts said.

Hurts and Lincoln Financial kicked off their community-focused partnership by engaging with the kids in several activities to send them off to camp, including educational financial literacy games, which focused on budgeting skills, and campers were gifted credit to the Eagles Pro Shop to put their lessons into practice.
