The Utah Jazz took it to the Philadelphia 76ers from the opening tip in Salt Lake City on Monday night, sending the Sixers to their 16th loss in 17 road games.

Utah rode a hot start to an easy 16-point win, 107-91, on its home court.

The Jazz built a 14-2 lead to begin the game.

While the Sixers were able to rally to finish the first quarter down just four points, the visitors clearly didn’t have the jump or focus their opponents did. The Jazz outrebounded Philadelphia, 46-38, for the game while shooting a sizzling 6-for-10 from three-point territory in the first half.

Utah took a 58-42 halftime lead into the locker room. The 76ers (27-43) never really threatened that lead in the second half.

Dorell Wright was the Sixers’ scoring leader for the second consecutive game, dropping in a game-high 19. Former Villanova star Randy Foye scored 17 points to lead the Jazz (35-36).
