Eagles coach Andy Reid uttered those exact words Tuesday when addressing reporters.
The Eagles still have no timetable for Maclin’s return.
“We’re still waiting on tests to come in,” Reid said. “When we get them, we’ll let you know.”
On Monday, The Sporting News reported that an update on Maclin’s health would be released Tuesday. The source on that report was Maclin’s brother, Andre. However, neither the family nor the Eagles provided any insight.
Reid also wouldn’t update defensive tackle Mike Patterson’s condition.
“I’m a little bit cautious with both he and Maclin, I want to make sure everything is done as far as the tests go,” Reid said. “Let’s just get everything cleared up. I know both of them can play football, and I understand their talents.”
So the wait continues.
