Today, the Class of 2017 was announced by the Philadelphia Music Alliance (PMA). These honorees will be the newest additions to the Philadelphia Walk of Fame and formerly inducted at the Oct. 4, 2017 afternoon ceremony and evening grand gala.
“The 2017 honorees represent powerhouse vocals, signature anthems, soulful vibes and production firsts within the R&B, pop and rock genres, with an emphasis on powerful and decorated women in music,” says PMA vice chair Mia Tinari in a press release.
Honorees for the class of 2017 include Jill Scott, Sister Sledge and more.
