Last night, Philly-born comedian Kevin Hart challenged celebrities to donate to the Hurricane Harvey relief effort over Instagram.
In the video, he calls out Beyonce, Jay Z, The Rock, Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Justin Timberlake and Steve Harvey to donate $25,000 in what he’s calling the Hurricane Harvey Relief Challenge.
“We’ve participated in a lot of challenges on the Internet, Some meaningful, some meaningless,” says Hart in the Instagram video. “At this point I’m going to start a real challenge. I’m challenging a lot of my celebrity friends to follow my lead in donating $25,000 to Hurricane Harvey to the Red Cross.”
He adds: “This is a serious matter. The people are in bad shape and need help. I’m going to lead the charge in stepping up in this way.”
