Philly native Kevin Hart has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons this week due to the extortion scandal involving him and a travelling stripper.
But a day before all of that broke, he made a pretty moving pledge to send 10 Philadelphia kids to college on his Instagram page.
“Philadelphia, I’ve made a decision to send 10 kids to college this year. Ten kids will get an education, free, courtesy of Kevin Hart and HartBeat Productions. I support dreamers, baby. We’re gonna make our presence felt …They’re gonna feel us.”
He didn’t reveal further details but added, “I’m about to start making major moves. This is the first of many. More information to come soon.”
The previous month, Hart also challenged celebrities to donate $25,000 to the victims of Hurricane Harvey after he made the first pledge.
What do you think of his new endeavor to send 10 Philly kids to college?
