The Philadelphia Orchestra is welcoming Kristin Chenoweth to the stage in Marian Anderson Hall at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts for a one-night-only performance on Saturday, May 3. The Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer will perform popular hits from Broadway and the American songbook with the Orchestra, conducted by Mary-Mitchell Campbell.

Known for her roles in ‘Pushing Daisies’, ‘You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown’, and her original role as Glinda the Good Witch in ‘Wicked’, Chenoweth won an Emmy, a Tony, and received a Tony nomination for those roles, respectively. She has also been nominated for two Emmy Awards and a People’s Choice Award for her role on ‘Glee’, among her many other awards wins and nominations. Chenoweth is also no stranger to joining orchestral performances on the stage, performing to sold-out audiences across the world, including at Carnegie Hall and Royal Albert Hall; these experiences now bring her to Marian Anderson Hall.
This performance also marks Chenoweth’s second collaboration with the Orchestra, her first since her 2016 debut with the ensemble. Tickets are now on sale to the general public for this one-night-only performance.
