Meet Betsy Snook, retired CEO of the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA). Betsy’s job was to represent the over 240,000 registered nurses in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with the goal of advocating for them, educating them, and allowing them to network in order to move both the profession and the association forward. She has over 40 years of experience as a registered nurse in Pennsylvania, and assumed the position of CEO so she could give back to her profession by serving her fellow nurses. Betsy also speaks to us about the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on healthcare workers, including how it has exacerbated the issue of short-staffing.
