Latavius Murray teases Eagles fans with Carson Wentz workout, Instagram pic

The Eagles are probably going to need a new running back in 2017, as Carson Wentz desperately needs new weapons on offense — and with Ryan Mathews aging, injury-prone and possibly heading for the cutting floor.

Could Raiders running back Latavius Murray be on the Birds’ radar?

Well if he wasn’t before, he is now.

According to reports, Murray, Wentz and wide receiver Nelson Agholor have been working out in California. Are the trio working on building some chemistry, or just working?

Murray is 27 and has run for2,278 yards and 20 touchdowns in his last three seasons in Oakland (soon to be Las Vegas).

A free agent now — as well as a fellow client of Wentz’ agent, Murray and the Raiders could reach a new deal before he hits the open market in March. But if he doesn’t, the back is a good fit for Philly, having stayed healthy during his career, missing just four games.
