Lawyer granted fees

LOWER MERION. A federal judge has ordered the Lower Merion School District to pay $260,000 to the lawyer representing a high school student who has accused the district of spying on him.

Mark Haltzman will receive the money for work that led to a preliminary injunction against the district in May. The civil case involving Haltzman’s client, Blake Robbins, is ongoing.
