“Curd nerd” Brent Zimmerman is coming to London Grill in Fairmount next month to teach you how to make your own goat cheese.

London Grill’s chef, Jason Lemon, worked with Zimmerman, author of “Get Your Goat: How to Keep Happy, Healthy Goats in Your Backyard, Wherever You Live,” on Zimmerman’s goat farm in Italy. The pair will host an artisanal cheese class April 26 from 3-6 p.m. Students will learn to make three kinds of goat cheese and try local cheeses and wines.

The goat milk will come from local sources, brought to the city by Greensgrow Farms.
