Lockdown lifted on three Parkside schools, suspect apprehended

Three Philadelphia schools in the city’s Parkside section were put on lockdown as police searched for a suspect, ABC Philly reported.

The locked down schools were reportedlyBlankenburg Elementary School, 4600 W. Girard Ave.;School of the Future, 4021 Parkside Ave.; andPhiladelphia Learning Academy, 4300 Westminster Ave.

The lockdown was lifted around 11:00 a.m. after the suspect was aprehended by police, ABC reported.
There is no information regarding the suspect or why he was fleeing police.
