Main Line Today hosts return of Ladies Night Out

The return of Main Line Today‘s Ladies Night Out is almost here—and it’s just as lovely as it sounds.

Highlights for this year include a runway show, live music, beauty tips from Ame Salon & Spa (for hair and makeup), lingerie from Bra Spectrum, and outfits on sale. While there, guests can also sip on champagne, wine, beer, and a specialty cocktail while hors d’oeuvres—all provided by Finley Catering—are passed.

“Ame Salon & Spa, along with our bridal department, Ame Bride, are thrilled to be participating in the Main Line Today Ladies Night Out event for our fourth year as the presenting sponsor,” said Ame owner Lori Pastore in a statement. “Ame looks forward to showcasing the latest hair and makeup trends during the walkabout fashion show and connecting with our local community.”

The Salon & Spa will also provide all models’ hair and makeup. While at the event, Barbizon Chique Models & Talen will be modeling clothing from various participating boutiques, while BVTLive will be providing entertainment. Their current stable of bands include the Eddie Bruce Experience, Strangers, Back2Life, Big Ric Rising, Deja Blue, Midnight Hour, Elevation, Carnivale and more.

For this year’s venue, guests will head to the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve, 3821 West Chester Pike. Built in 1932, the Ballroom is located in Newtown Square, Delaware County with easy accessibility from Route 3 and 476.

But the night is also meant for good. A portion of sales will go to benefit Breastcancer.org, whose mission is to help people make sense of the complex medical and personal information surrounding breast health and breast cancer.

As their website states, Marisa C. Weiss, MD, founded Breastcancer.org when she saw a need for cancer patients: More time to ask critical questions about their care than what’s typically provided during a doctor’s appointment. Today, the site is used for education and as a support lifeline for millions of people affected by breast cancer.
