Delicious details for Main Line Today Restaurant Week

It’s that time of year again—Main Line Today Restaurant Week is officially back to put the spotlight on the best and brightest culinary venues of the area for its winter/spring event.

From now to March 11, more than 40 restaurants will be participating in the annual activation, which is currently the largest go-around for the Main Line. The 14-day culinary celebration comes from Main Line Today and Today Media, and reservations are now available for those looking to indulge.

Venues involved will be serving up special three-course or four-course prix fixe menus with expanded price points to showcase the diversity of the food scene. For lunch, look for $25, $30, and/or $35 menus (plus beverage, tax and gratuity) or for dinner, look for $30, $45, and/or $55 menus (plus beverage, tax and gratuity). As a release states, restaurants can choose what works best for them, offering lunch, dinner, or both—dine-in or takeout.

“The Main Line and western suburbs are experiencing a time of accelerated growth in new restaurants,” said Main Line Today Publisher Marian Conicella in a statement. “New establishments from well-known Philadelphia chefs are joining successful local spots, bringing great culinary energy to our community. We’re thrilled that our list of participating restaurants showcases the amazing culinary talent throughout the region.”

Main Line Today Restaurant Week is fairly new as an annual activation, and its grown in size and popularity since its inception in 2021. This year’s participants span three counties and dozens of townships, and while all restaurants in Delaware, Chester and Montgomery counties are invited to participate, there is a special focus on independent and locally operated restaurants.

This year, visitors can check out offerings from returning favorites such as 118 North, Al Pastor, Autograph Brasserie, Locust Lane Craft Brewery, Lola’s Garden, Osushi, Rosalie, Rye BYOB, Terrain Café, Sophie’s BBQ and more. New spots have also been added for 2023, including Bar Alimentari at DiBruno Bros in Wayne, A Taste of Britain, Buena Onda Radnor, Santucci’s Original Square Pizza Paoli, and three White Dog Café locations (in Glen Mills, Haverford and Wayne)—among others.

Twenty One Pips is also a new addition to Main Line Today Restaurant Week. The Game Room and Kitchen opened last summer and comes from owners of the Thirsty Dice, which opened as Philadelphia’s first board game café in 2018. And just like their City of Brotherly Love counterpart, patrons will get the full board game experience while there, but this time paired with locally sourced sharable menu items and a curated beverage selection.

A full list of participating restaurants and what they’re offering can be found online. Additionally, Main Line Today is also proud to support and collaborate with Share Food Program and Chester County Food Bank through Main Line Today Restaurant Week to bring continued awareness of local community food needs, a statement from a release reads.

“Thank you to Main Line Today magazine for including the Chester County Food Bank as part of Restaurant Week,” said Chester County Food Bank CEO Andrea Youndt in a statement. “This partnership helps to bring awareness to the Chester County Food Bank and its mission to ensure access to real, healthy food. We hope that as people dine to support our local restaurants, they will also consider supporting hunger relief efforts in their community.”
