Man allegedly stabs cousin to death in Tacony

A man allegedly stabbed his cousin to death at the home they shared in Tacony late Friday night.

Police responded to the 6200 block of Cottage Street around 11:27 p.m. and found Albert Smith, 50, with stab wounds to the lower left chest. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators identified Smith’s cousin, Albert Hauck, 49, as the offender. He was arrested and is charged with murder and related offenses.
