Man fatally bound and gagged during possible Olney home invasion

Police are investigating a possible home invasion in Olney.

A man, 40, was found by his wife at their home on the 200 block of West Ruscomb Street in the upstairs middle bedroom. His wrists, ankles and mouth were bound with duct tape and bleeding.

He was pronounced dead at 4:30 p.m. The cause of death is unknown at this time, but police have ruled it a homicide.

The closets and drawers of the house had been ransacked, suggesting a robbery or home invasion.
