Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting early Sunday morning in North Philadelphia as Steven Peeples, 39.
Investigators a family member around 1:40 a.m. found Peeples lying in the living room of his home on the 1300 block of West Lippincott Street.
He had been shot in the head and stomach.
Peeples was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he died shortly after 2 a.m.
There is not yet word on a suspect or motive in the slaying.
