A man was killed and two other people were seriously injured when gunfire erupted Wednesday evening during a robbery inside a corner store in Fairhill, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at around 5 p.m. at the corner of Hancock and Cambria streets, according to police.
Luimi Nunez, 34, who worked at the business along with his parents, suffered a gunshot wound to his head and was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he died less than an hour later, investigators said.
A 61-year-old man was shot in his chest, and a 21-year-old man was shot in the head, authorities said. Both men were hospitalized in critical condition, according to the PPD.
Police have not reported any arrests.
