Police are investigating a homicide that happened in the Kingsessing section of Southwest Philadelphia early this morning.
Authorities said the victim, a black man in his 30s, was shot once in the chest and once in the ankle. His body was found on the 5500 block of Pentridge Street shortly before 5:30 a.m. His identity has not been released.
Investigators have not yet disclosed a possible motive, and no arrests have yet been made.
