Man shot, killed in Kensington robbery

A man was shot and killed during a robbery in Kensington on Monday morning.

A 51-year-old man was shot and killed during an apparent robbery in Kensington early Monday.

Philadelphia police were called to the 2900 block of Hartville Street about 1:12 a.m. for a report of a robbery in progress. Arriving officers found the victim had been shot once in his chest.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made.
