Man sold drugs at mother’s daycare

Police say a Northumberland County man was selling heroin at his mother’s daycare center, “Jesus’ Lil Helpers.”

Ryan Varano, 28, confessed he used the daycare to sell and use heroin at night and on weekends, the Shamokin News Item reported.

Varano was arrested on drug charges along with Christan Kehler, 37, and Frederick Russo, 49, after the men called 911 Saturday night when Kehler overdosed at the daycare.

Police said the suspects had bought 10 bundles (140 packets) of heroin for $1,000 in Philly on Friday morning.

“I’m a piece of sh–,” Varano reportedly told police.
