Man used hidden cam to record women changing at Abington Target: cops

Since November 2014, a Warminster man has allegedly loitered in dressing rooms at an Abington Target secretly recording women while they change, according to police.

Miklos Jugovics, 32, is accused of using a video camera concealed inside a pen to pull off his “Peeping Tom” trick.

Jugovics was arrested Saturday around 2:15 p.m. after employees spotted him back in the dressing room — where he had been seen a week earlier, when a female customer reported seeing a ballpoint pen poke under the wall of the dressing room.

“She saw a small, cylindrical device protruding under the wall of the changing room,” the Abington Police stated in a report. “When she attempted to grab it, the device was pulled away leading the customer to believe she had been photographed while she was changing.”

That woman reported her March 21 encounter at the Target at 1495 Old York Road to Abington Police. Jugovics was picked out as a possible suspect on surveillance camera footage. When employees saw Jugovics on March 28, they called police, who detained him.

Police said Jugovics admitted that he recorded women using the ballpoint-pen camera.

Jugovics faces charges of Invasion of Privacy, Unlawful use of Computers and Possessing Instruments of Crime and is being held pending his arraignment.

He “would then download the images onto a computer in his home but states that he never uploaded any images to the Internet or otherwise distributed them,” the police report states.

Police recovered the pen-camera and executed a search warrant at Jugovics’ home.

Police are asking any other potential victims or anyone with information related to Jugovics to come forward and contact the Abington Police Department.
