A 47-year-old man hit four police officers with his car before being shot in the chest on Tuesday afternoon in Olney.
The officers were all in stable condition as of press-time, and the suspect, who was not yet identified or charged, remained in critical condition.
Police say they were called at 2:16 p.m. today to 9th and Olney Avenue for a car crashed into a wall.
The driver backed up, hit an officer and a fire truck, struck two more officers, continued driving, and was shot in the chest while driving into the fourth officer near Stenton and Ogontz streets, fled and was caught on the 1900 block of Colonial Street.
