Main Street in Manayunk plays home to several festivals throughout the year, but none quite so massive as the Manayunk Arts Festival. The two-day hoopla brings well-dressed browsers to the tri-state’s largest outdoor juried arts festival that features 300 artists from around the country. Every medium you can imagine—from mixed media to jewelry to glass and ceramics—will be represented in booths lining the thoroughfare, and there will be plenty of dining options courtesy of restaurants along the strip.

West Philly makes summer official at this annual arts and music festival at Clark Park. Head over for food trucks, drink stations, family-friendly activities and a full lineup of live bands. Among the local acts scheduled to perform are Flyermile, Mumblr, Rosu Lup and more. The party ends at sundown, but those still raring to go can hit up the official after-party at Millcreek Tavern at 4200 Chester Avenue.

This week, Old City District debuts an ambitious happy hour program that takes place every Thursday through August 25. Thirty-two restaurants in the area roll out special menus and drink deals from 5 to 8 p.m. This includes revered mainstays Fork and Amada, and a handful of newbies, like Common Wealth and The Little Lion. Pick a new one every week for a well-rounded–and budget-friendly–tasting tour of the historic ‘hood.

Richard Sandoval opens his first Philadelphia restaurant within the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton in Center City. The menu touts the Mexico City-bred chef’s signature Latin American-inspired dishes with a modern, sustainable twist. Look out for seafood, steaks and poultry cooked on a wood-fired grill, a sushi and ceviche bar, and, for you light-biters, a variety of unique salad options. The restaurant opens to the general public starting June 24.

Louisville-born singer-songwriter Bonnie “Prince” Billy joins Chicago-based trio Bitchin’ Bajas in support of their new collabo album, “Epic Jammers and Fortunate Little Ditties.” Billy’s voice, which has been described as a “a fragile sort-of warble,” takes center stage on the effort that stemmed from a one-off performance on Record Store Day. Expect jam-session vibes from these indie-folk innovators.

Fans of country music will get lots of bang for their buck at Lincoln Financial Saturday night. Veteran singer-songwriter Kenny Chesney brings his Spread the Love Tour with all-the-rage female vocalist Miranda Lambert and five-piece country-rock act Old Dominion.

Philadelphia’s influence on graffiti culture gets screen time in this new documentary that traces the impact the art form had on inner city life from the 1960s to today. The film features commentary from superstar street artists and narration by counter-culture god John Waters. Stick around after the screening for a Q&A with director Roger Gastman, and appearances by some of the artists in the film, like Cornbread, Cool Earl and Kool Klepto Kidd.
