McNabb not happy about his demotion

Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb was having a tough year to begin with. After being demoted to No. 3 QB for the final two games, the former Eagle said he feels disrespected.

“Everything was handled awkwardly,” McNabb said yesterday on his radio show. “Somewhat to a disrespect to me and to the team.”

McNabb wasn’t told until last Thursday that he was being benched, although media reports had started circulating earlier in the week.

“I was pulled back by it,” McNabb said. “The term I did use was professional.”
