The Philadelphia Police Department says two men acting like good Samaritans were anything but.
Cops said that on Wednesday, Jan. 6, around 4:20 p.m., a 70-year-old man withdrew cash from a Wells Fargo Bank and began to cross the street to the Jhohandra Restaurant at 3661 North 6th Street. Using a walker, the senior citizen approached the building and told cops”he was approached by two unknown black males who offered the complainant their help.”

At that point, authorities alleged the men pinned the 70-year-old against the door of the restaurant, went in his pants and took $450. Luckily, the man suffered no injuries.
The PPD described the suspects as two black males, both 50-60 years old. Both men also reportedly hadclose cropped hair and mustaches.
