Eagles back up quarterback Michael Vick told NFL Network he thinks he can start in the NFL, and intends to find a new home next season.
When Vick was asked if the New York Jets were a good fit for him, the 33-year-old southpaw told viewers, “Who knows? What I am is really excited about the opportunity to play again in 2014 and that’s what’s important.”
The Jets are an interesting option for the often injured but explosive quarterback, as Geno Smith had an inconsistent 2013 and Mark Sanchez out of the picture.
Jets GM John Idzik has not yet committed to a starter for next season.
