Mike Vick signs one-year deal with Eagles

Mike Vick will be back in Eagles green next season with a chance to compete for the starting quarterback job.

Mike Vick is coming back.

The move, which has been analyzed and dissected in depth in this space for the past week, is not a surprise considering the options. Vick and the Eagles agreed on a one-year deal for the 2013 season Monday morning. The quarterback could earn up to $10 million.

New coach Chip Kelly had already planned a press conference to introduce his coaching staff Monday at 1:30 p.m. Obviously, there will be plenty of Vick questions. Vick turns 33 in June. He threw for 2,362 yards, 12 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 10 games last season.
