Old City furniture store Millesime and Ligne Roset is opening its new 16,000-square-foot showroom with a party benefitting Eli Kulp, the city’s star chef who was paralyzed in the Amtrak derailment in May. Kulp’s Forkand High Street on Marketare both in Old City.
The event, themed “Structured Chaos: A Night of Inspiration,” will include a fashion show produced by the neighborhood’s MADE Studios with designers Rosemary Brahin, Maria Melo, Renee Hill, Rachel Ford, Tiffany Liabhen, Amber Gaynor and Jonathan Shane, along with a ballet performance and, of course, food and drinks. DJ Guy Smith will provide the beats at the after-party.

The party is Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 8 p.m. at 31-33 N. Third St. It’s $15 to get in, with proceeds going to benefit Kulp. You can also donate to help with Kulp’s medical expenses through GoFundMe.
