Mind, Body, Bubbly: Day of wellness returns in 2024

In a world of stress, schedules and needing a break—the time to unwind, connect and treat yourself is finally here.

Mind, Body, Bubbly is officially back in 2024, and the wellness fair will be taking place Sunday, June 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Back for its sixth year, MBB aims to provide a special day of self-care with some of the best of Philadelphia’s beauty and wellness communities. What visitors can expect is a day filled with bubbly drinks, brunch bites, and empowering activities, all while supporting a local nonprofit, Dawn’s Place.

As a release notes, this year 50 local and women-owned businesses will be represented at the wellness event, making for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for self-care lovers. This year’s vendor line-up will offer a diverse range of services and products, including complimentary IVs, wellness shots, massages, and hair treatments. Guests can also shop from some Philly-favorite businesses for clothes, jewelry, candles, and more.

Highlights span aromatherapy dough from A Little Mental, a variety of homemade cookies from Kindness Kookies, red light therapy and relaxation products from dtXfy, breast milk-inspired skincare products from Milk Made Skin, aura portraits from Inner Light Aura, affirmation candles from State of Being Co., all natural real fruit vegan sorbet from The Mango Hut, a selection of coffee items from Win Win Coffee, coloring books and art rituals from Subnormal Child, and much, much more.

“We eagerly look forward to Mind, Body and Bubbly 2024 and the magic it will bring,” says Kate Marlys, Founder and Organizer of Mind, Body and Bubbly in a statement. “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible sponsors, vendors, and team for their invaluable contributions to this event – your support makes this possible.”

This year, the wellness fair will also be partnering once again with Dawn’s Place, a nonprofit organization supporting survivors of commercial sexual exploitation or sex trafficking.

“As a women owned and operated business, spreading awareness for human trafficking is very important to us at Philly PR Girl,” Marlys explains. “Dawn’s Place is actively working to provide a new beginning for survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. We are happy to provide as much support as we can through Mind, Body, and Bubbly”

Dawn’s Place is the first residential treatment program for victims and survivors of sex-trafficking in the tri-state region. They proactively support and help raise awareness serving American and foreign national women. They also provide direct services that include education about prevention and community collaboration.

By offering these programs, victims are able to build the freedom and empowerment they need to take strides towards recovery, and this gives a positive outlook on the future and a role in the community for women while in recovery.

Location 215—a state-of-the-art studio that opened in Spring 2019—will once again be the host for the event, and throughout this large, bright, airy, and centrally located studio, Philadelphians will be able to sample the variety of treats, try interactive services and get to know the minds behind some of the city’s most dynamic wellness destinations… and there will be more vendors than ever this go around.
