‘Missing’ Delaware County woman retuns home safely

A Delaware County woman who was reported missing last week returned home safely this morning, authorities said.

Debra Miller, 38, called Tinicum Township police and her father when she came back to the area, the Delaware County Daily Times reported. Miller told authorities she hopped on a Greyhound bus to Orlando and just walked around for about a week after leaving her cell phone at home and not contacting her family.

Miller told police she just needed to get away.

Miller’s family reported her missing last week and began a search for the mother of one. Tinicum police assisted in the search and thanked the community members who participated.
