Days after a manhunt was sparked for a Montgomery County woman who disappeared after her car broke down in King of Prussia, 20-year-old Deirdre “DD” Magolon was located safe in Kensington.
“She’s found safe and sound! Thank you everyone for your help!” Magolon’s family posted on their Facebook page, “Help us bring DD home.”
Magolon, of Royersford, was last seen Friday evening. Her black Mazda was discovered around 7:20 p.m. Friday abandoned on Route 422 near King of Prussia.
Tips led police from Upper Providence Township to track Magolon, who reportedly hitchhiked to Kensington and was seen in the neighborhood on Saturday and Sunday.
Magolon had a history of mental health issues, reports say, and was arrested on drug charges in February. Those charges are pending.
The “Help us bring DD home” Facebook page has since been taken down.
