A motorcyclist was in critical condition after he was struck by a car in a hit-and-run crash Monday night in Mayfair, police said.
The collision occurred at around 6 p.m. near the corner of Frankford and Longshore avenues, according to authorities.
Investigators said the driver of a gray Toyota Camry was turning out of a car wash parking lot when the vehicle hit the motorcycle rider, a 47-year-old man who was heading north on Frankford.
The man was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered multiple injuries, police said. Medics transported him to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.
