One man is hospitalized and another is in custody after a Wednesday night shooting in Holmesburg.
Police responded to a car crash around 9:30 p.m. on the 4700 block of Meridian Street, CBS3 reported. When authorities arrived, they saw that the driver had been shot in the head.

The bullet apparently came through the rear driver-side window and struck the driver, Fox 29 stated.
The motorist subsequently crashed into two parked cars, authorities said to CBS3. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police, though, have not yet been able to identify the victim, Fox 29 added.

A 17-year-old on Lansing Street was taken into custody in connection to the incident, according to Fox 29.
