Pumpkin desserts are a staple during spooky season, and Cake Life Bake Shop in Fishtown has plenty of options on that front. The artisanal bakery offers Pumpkin Cookie Pies ($6.50), aka two pumpkin cookies with a tangy cream cheese frosting and a chocolate stem, and Pumpkin Maple Cupcakes ($5), made with pumpkin cake and maple-spiked cream cheese frosting (also available as a cake.)

Oh My Gourd ($13) shot crafted with White Claw Vodka, spiced pumpkin purée and caramel.

For National Pumpkin Day in Philadelphia, Jansen will be offering a spiced Pumpkin Flip crafted with chai-infused dark rum, fresh roasted pumpkin, vanilla, cinnamon, one whole egg, and fresh ginger for two nights only (Oct. 25 and 26). Visitors can pair the cocktail with some of the Mt. Airy locale’s new American fare.

For those looking to imbibe in the popular flavor at home, Bluebird Distilling offers a limited-edition Spiced Pumpkin Dark Rum ($45, 80 proof, 750ml) this time of year. The dark rum is flavored with autumnal spices and a pinch of cane sugar, and its distilled and bottled on-site. The pumpkin-flavored sipper boasts tasting notes of caramel, nutmeg, and vanilla is available for purchase at Bluebird Distilling and both Char & Stave locations (in Chestnut Hill and Ardmore.)
