Whether you take your spirit with salt, limes, some flavor or a little extra flair, here is where to celebrate National Tequila Day (July 24) in Philadelphia.
El Rey, El Vez and LMNO
All three Stephen Starr locations are suiting up for the holiday with special happy hour additions being added to the menu. At Center City’s romantically lit watering hole El Rey (2013 Chestnut St.), locals can pair their sips with $4 street corn, $4 tacos, a $6 eggplant enchilada, $8 spiced wings and more. On the full-coursed side of the menu, visitors can indulge in a short rib enchilada, mahi-mahi, a selection of quesadillas, nachos and much more.
El Vez (121 S. 13th St.) on the other hand, will be offering a limited-edition “Tequila Garage Sale” chock full of specialty-priced cocktails for the occasion. Visitors can pair it with a wide selection of guacamoles, tuna coconut ceviche, carne asada and much more.

As for LMNO (1739-1749 N Front St.), locals can find special happy hour specials in celebration of National Tequila Day. The authentic Baja-inspired menu here is centered around a custom live-fire grill—but that’s just the tip of the iceberg at the eatery, which also acts as an art gallery, bookstore, and intimate music venue, all under one roof. Menu highlights span tortilla soup, shrimp nachos, Baja duck confit, lobster puerto neuvo and more.
