The new-look Flyers are ready for prime time.
The club is slated for 13 nationally televised games for the 2011-12 season, starting with the season opener Oct. 6 at Boston. The Flyers have six games on Versus, two on NBC and five on either NBC or Versus through the network’s flexible scheduling option.
The Flyers are scheduled for five national broadcasts over the first three months of the season, including games at Boston, Buffalo (twice), Tampa Bay and Dallas. Their first nationally televised home game comes on Jan. 2 against the New York Rangers, followed by a Jan. 22 contest against the Bruins.
